Day Excursion to Kuldhara, Laungewala & Tanot Mandir

Kuldhara is a village abandoned by Paliwal Brahmins over night around 300 years ago. The village has been cursed since then and is still believed to be a haunted one.

A border town in Thar Desert and the most notable location of Battle of Laungewala held during Indo-Pak War of 1971. A part of the town has now been converted into a War Memorial that depicts the guts & glory of the India Army. The memorial also showcases captured tanks, guns, jeeps and bunkers. A short clip played displaying the bravery of our soldiers is a must watch

Tanot Mata Mandir

The story of Tanot Mata Mandir is a miraculous tale when the local deity Tanot aka Awad Mata did not let any Pakistani tank bomb explode and Indian soldiers who were certain of martyrdom and defeat went on to crush the Pakistanis in both 1965 as well as 1971 wars. It is said that more than 3,000 bombs were dropped in the vicinity of the temple, but none exploded. One can see some of those bombs in the Museum built by BSF inside the temple premises.

These places will surely give you Goosebumps and make your trip a memorable one!!
